When I wake up - The sun is shining as the blinds gradually open, allowing the gentle morning light to wake me naturally. As I step into the kitchen, warm sunbeams filter through the windows, creating a bright and welcoming start to the day.

When I go out - With a single press on my TaHoma® switch Smart Control or a tap on my smartphone, I close the rollers and the shutters, securing my home. I leave for work with total peace of mind.

When I come back home - As night falls, the perfect atmosphere is already set—blinds and shutters lowered, creating a cosy welcome. All that’s left to do is relax and enjoy quality time with family and friends.

When I am home at night - I unwind in the evening beneath my illuminated pergola or awning, effortlessly adjusting the settings with a simple touch of a button or via my smartphone.

Yes, they are. TaHoma® switch has been verified for UL’s Gold IoT Security Rating. This means that TaHoma® switch and TaHoma® app cover many cybersecurity requirements such as secure updates and connections and stored and transmitted data security. UL is the global safety science leader that provides expertise, insights and services to help businesses achieve their safety and security goals.
Unfortunately, integrating wireless motors from other manufacturers into TaHoma®, TaHoma® switch, TaHoma® DIN Rail, or the Connectivity Kit is not possible unless the manufacturer provides a compatible interface. If a compatible interface is available, integration may be possible, but only with TaHoma® or TaHoma® switch.

To connect your Velux products, activate their learning mode and then scan or search for drives and TaHoma®. The TaHoma® app will guide you through the process step by step. The setup may vary depending on whether your Velux transmitter is one-way or two-way, as each requires a different learning mode. For assistance with your specific model, contact The Shade Studio.
When connecting for the first time, the update will be suggested automatically and will also appear whenever a new box version is available. The recommended method is to switch the power supply OFF and ON, which will trigger the update automatically. Alternatively, you can open the TaHoma® app, tap the "..." menu, and select "My Box." Navigate to the update section and follow the step-by-step instructions. If a new software version is available, you can choose to install the update immediately or schedule it for overnight installation. To ensure you always have the latest updates, you can also enable automatic updates in this section.
Step-by-step procedure - 1- In the main menu, go to “…”. 2 - Then, click on " Voice assistants" in the external services section. 3 - Select the right voice assistant you want to add. Eg: Google Assistant. 4 - And click on the first option "1------" to open the configuration panel. 5 - Configuration, Voice assistants are third-party services. The configuration of your TaHoma® solution is partially based on its dedicated app: follow the instructions displayed in the TaHoma® app. Once complete, your equipment will be ready to be controlled by voice!
Step-by-step procedure - Information: This procedure is valid for blind & shutter radio motors. The following operation must be carried out with the individual control point of your roller shutter (remote control or wall-mounted switch). Open the memory of the motor: WARNING: We recommend using an individual-assigned control point. If you use a control point assigned to a group of drivers, you will duplicate this group to the new control point. 1 - Press and hold 3 seconds the prog button on the back of the already assigned control point until the shutter moves up and down - Add the control point to the memory. 1 - Briefly press the prog button on the back of your new control point. The shutter makes a brief up-and-down movement. 2 - Press up or down to check the operation. The new control point is paired with the roller shutter and ready to be used!

For example, thanks to your motion sensor the light turns on temporarily at night when you pass through the corridor. *This feature is not available with the Connectivity kit - Step-by-step procedure: 1 - Access schedule scenes - Go to the "My scenes" menu. 2- Click on "create my own scene". 3 - Create your advanced scene, Select "advanced scene". 4 - Choose when to launch the scene: It could be a specific time, date, or based on the sunrise and sunset thanks to sun sensors. You can also set up the launch of a scene according to the status of connected equipment in your home. 5 - Then, select one or several equipment, and the desired actions, or choose a manual scene. 6 - One scene with many options - To use the full potential of your advanced scene, add more conditions to the scene, and easily make even more precise automation. 7 - Save your scenes - Name your scene and choose an icon. 8 - You can also see the summary of your scene, and edit it again if needed. 9 - Activate or de-activate your scene - Find your scene in the "my scene" menu and switch the button to de-activate or activate it again. 10 - Manage your scenes - Find your scene in the "my scene" menu and open it. 11 - Change all its details or delete the scene. 12 - Calendar - Click on today in the "my scene" menu - to see all the scenes running today - Select other days in the calendar, to see what happened in the past, and what is scheduled later. 13 - Copy a scene - When creating a new scene, you can also start from an existing one, and modify it. Find your scene in the “my scene” menu. Click to open it, and click on the duplicate icon. All changes will be saved in a new scene.

Step-by-step procedure - 1 - Access manual scenes - Go to the "My scenes" menu. 2 - Click on "Create your own scene". 3 - select your first equipment - It could be individual equipment, or groups of equipment if you want to set common actions. 4 - And simply set the desired action. 5 - One Scene, many products - use the full potential of your manual scene, add more equipment just after this first one! 6 - Save your scenes - Name your scene and choose an icon. 7 - You can also see the summary of your scene, and edit it again if needed. 8 - Launch your scene - Find your scene in the “my scene” menu and simply click on the play button to launch it. 9 - Tip - You can also use other ways to launch scenes: TaHoma® switch (and its buttons), Scene launcher, Voice assistants* - *Requires an additional voice assistant (availability depending on countries). 10 - Manage your scenes - Find your scene in the “my scene” menu and open it. 11 - Change all its details or delete the scene. 12 - Copy your scene - When creating a new scene, you can also start from an existing one, and modify it. 1. Find your scene in the “my scene” menu and open it. 2. Click on the copy icon at the top right of the screen. All changes will be saved in a new scene.
